Chili Pot

I am in the market for a vacuum packaging machine (cryvac).   I need something more reliable and efficient than the home food saver solution.   Has anyone tried something nicer like a VacMaster?  If so, recommendations?

Can some be used for soups or more fluid items like that?   Meat in a marinade?   I appreciate all feedback, pros and cons on all styles.   Thank you
