  1. Any update on when the opening date is? Three Kings has some great menu items and a great happy hour! Can't wait for the third location to open up!
  2. Looks good! I need to start cooking more... Have you considered using a roaster instead of a crock pot? Not sure if that would work or not with temperature settings, other than that, it should be the same, just larger volume. I know guys that use them for making chili.
  3. I'm hoping to stop in today!! Yay Rick Lewis!!! Gotta love that hot chicken!!! Looking at Fish Heads' post about possibly using that breading on fish.... hmm... that sounds GOOD!!! maybe a good twist for lent. haaa haa
  4. That looks great! Liver Sausage? I remember having it as a kid and it was really good.. Some people have way too much liver in theirs.. how is Wenneman's?
  5. I can hardly wait for the new Hi Pointe Drive In.... Here was a teaser burger pic they had on fb... That just looks AMAZING!!!!
  6. I've had the scallops as well... I believe it was 6 years or so ago though.... That was truly one of my favorite two dishes there... Hope they bring it back or at least let us know if they do it as a special.
  7. Yeah, can you give us a sample list of what you may offer? Photos would help too if you have them.. always an enjoyable meal at any of the Hamilton restaurants.
  8. I've never seen a ribeye separate like that. Did it still taste good? the mashed potatoes look good. I haven't eaten there yet, I bet it would be fun to take a grilling class on a date night though
  9. Saw a promo on channel 5 news about restaurant "grading" on the A,B,C scale.. It is going to air Monday November 21 at 10 pm on channel 5... It'll be interesting to see what and who they target...
  10. Fish Heads, love the member name and I remember the old video on Saturday Night Live.... Way too messed up, and funny. Those guys were really out there... Once you get the song in your head, it's hard to get out. Either way, welcome to the forum.
  11. Looks like a great relaxing setting with space to breathe. I'll definitely add that to my list of places to "Taste Out" (test out)... see what I did there.. Haa haa
  12. Ok THAT LOOKS AMAZING!!! I am definitely going to try that next time. I agree, I never sauce my ribs either... Meat & Smoke & Seasoning all the way
  13. Nothing special here with me, I'm just your Average American Joe. I work hard, have a great family, but don't have enough time together. There are times when we make last minute decisions for dinner, and we end up at the same conclusion, where can we take the kids... This forum looks to have a great format, and I look forward to watching and being a part of making it grow. There are so many great restaurants and chefs in our area, and this is a great place for everyone and everything to come together. You can follow or "Like" pages on FB, but you don't know what's going on down the road if you don't "Like" them. I think it's great that it's in the best interest of restaurants, chefs, foodies and more. Thanks for building the site, and looking forward to watching it grow. Average Joe
  14. Everything that Hamilton has his hands on, just has been a flat out home run. Congrats Paul & Wendy!!
  15. I'd have to agree completely. I've eaten there a few times over the past year, everything is amazing..... FOOD, Service and staff. My wife loves going there on special occasions.
  16. I'm not sure if it's a special that they have or not, but the Meat loaf at SqWire's is perhaps the best I've ever had. the bed of mashed potatoes and side veggie are perfect to their well mastered meat loaf... I'm going to have to visit there soon and take a pic... If it's on their menu, I strongly recommend that you get it.
  17. I just saw an ad for KFC.... Looks like they heard about Southern's Nashville Hot fried chicken.... they now offer it too.... Good Job Rick!!! Even the fake "colonels" are paying attention to what you're doing.
  18. Congratulations to The Crossing in Clayton! From Open Table web site: Foodies. Gourmands. Epicureans. These are the people seeking adventure on a plate, and our 2016 list of the #OpenTable100 Best Restaurants for Foodies honors the restaurants that are serving just that — delicious dishes, from rustic to refined, meant to be shared with both forks and phones. We determined the list of honorees after analyzing more than five million reviews of more than 20,000 restaurants across the country — all submitted by verified diners. Congratulations Owner / Executive Chef Jim Fiala and Chef Brad Watts!!! Looks like I'll be making my reservations soon.
  19. Now that looks great!! I can almost smell the burnt ends... I really like the idea of the "Cold Smoke" using the charcoal and wood chunks... GREAT IDEA! Thanks for sharing..
  20. I believe it's November 10th on Food Network at 9pm on Beat Bobby Flay... Only thing is I think Mike competes with another chef Justin Gaines and the winner of the two will get to challenge Bobby Flay. Look for Beat Bobby Flay "Country Boys in the Big City" Hope this helps. Good luck Mike!!!
