Wing Nut
I heard recently that Mike Johnson of Sugarfire was going to be going up against Bobby Flay. Does anyone know if this has already aired on TV in the St. Louis region, and what channel / time it will be on? I know Mike has a vast amount of knowledge, didn't he even work with Emeril in New Orleans years ago? He's hitting home runs with everything he gets his hands on.. Hope he does well.
Average Joe
I believe it's November 10th on Food Network at 9pm on Beat Bobby Flay... Only thing is I think Mike competes with another chef Justin Gaines and the winner of the two will get to challenge Bobby Flay. Look for Beat Bobby Flay "Country Boys in the Big City" Hope this helps. Good luck Mike!!!

Wing Nut
It's a shame the Mike Johnson didn't win, but he sure did put on a show and was creative in making his own fresh sausage... Good job Mike!
Catfish Hunter
Good show Mike, too bad they couldn't overlook the rice for the creativity you brought forth compared to Bobby Flay
Nancy L
I saw this too... I was greatly impressed with Mike's creativity right off the top of his head. He should have won for sure.
